october 14--dress(ing) rehearsal

october 15--so the wind won't blow it all away

i was walking through this beautiful fall afternoon
and i came across a couple of leaves that had blown together.
it seemed almost as if the one was reaching out
to touch the other...




a moment later
the wind blew
and there was only one.
