This is the sunrise we saw as we were flying over Normandy this morning. It was a lovely way to start the day, and our trip.

It's 8:pm here, and I am so ready to lay down and sleep, but I don't want to go too bed too early, or I will wake up at 3 a.m. We went out for a walk along Anne-Frank-Strasse just as it was getting dark. Nice to be outside in the fresh air and see the sun going down. A day somewhat out of time.
