July 9--Two empty days

With all the heartbreak going on, I didn't have the heart to write anything the past few days. There's too much killing going on.

I don't have a picture that covers how I feel, so I will leave you with something I found drawn on a picnic table at the park this evening. A happy fish, drawn on a picnic table in the park, as a reminder that not everything is horrible.

happy fish

I don't blame you. We all feel awful. That is a nice, happy fish drawing.

I hear you. I am saturated with the world's misery and can't handle too much more.

I love that fish! It was much needed with everything going on. Thank you!

That's beautiful, and yeah, what we need when we're all hurting over the news.

This is lovely, and just what I needed in the midst of so much madness. Thank you.

Thank you. That smile warms my heart. It's a beautiful fish, and, I think, a talented artist. It really helps me this evening, watching the news from France on TV...
