July 4--boom!

We sat in our back yard last night and watched the fireworks in the park. We are close enough and with a now-unobstructed view to see the whole show. We used to have a tree that got in the way, but it was cut down last fall. They put on a great show every year, with about 1000 shells. Some years I take pictures, but this year I just enjoyed it.



This is a tree I pass by fairly often. As I was passing it yesterday morning, I saw faces, and took a picture. I see faces in all sorts of things. To me this looks like a bunch of little heads sticking out of the bark. We used to have a shower curtain that had a kind of floral print. I saw faces in that too--screaming faces. I finally got rid of it because it gave me the creeps.

I understand getting rid of your shower curtain. We have a ceiling fan over our bed with faces that are very disapproving - I would like to paint over it someday.


Couldn't resist - it already looked so much like faces I wanted to see what Dreamscope would do with it.

I see faces too. I don't blame you for getting rid of the shower curtain. It would have been disturbing.

It's nice that you have a good view into the park and got to see the fireworks minus the crowds.

Good to see someone else do this. After surgery or even other things...In the tile floors of the new house..I see face and things...But depending on where I am with attitude and such...they are different every day.
