Actually, his beard looks like he's been eating french toast with powdered sugar! LOL ~A

when he was young, he spent some time working as a pastry chef in London.

I read a wonderful book of short stories when I was in vietnam. it's called "A Good Scent From a Strange Mountain". I think it won a pulitzer prize. you should check it out.

Thanks for the tip... I'm adding it to the 'black book' list. Just read Marilynne Robinson's "Home". Different from "Gilead" but every bit as wonderful. ~A
