Great cook, mediocre musician, amateur movie critic

The pizza last night was so delicious that it eclipsed the artichokes. This was a new pizza dough recipe that I used, and it made a wonderful chewy, crunchy crust, bursting with flavor. For my pizza, I had three cheeses, portabello mushrooms, herbed salami, olives, and red onions. My wife's had the cheeses, ham, pineapple, tomato, portabellos and green onions. They were fun to make, and fun to eat. And they looked like real pizzas--like the kind we had in Naples.

We watched a movie while we ate--Murder by Numbers, with Sandra Bullock. I generally consider her to be a lightweight actress, but she really nailed a pretty complex character. I am impressed.

After the movie I picked up my guitar and played until my fingers turned numb. I bought a new capo recently, and this has extended my range considerably.

I guess I'm not sick anymore, since I am again tackling life with gusto. Whoo-ya!!!
