May 11--the next day

I lectured for 4 1/2 hours straight today. It was fun, but it wore me out. I'm a pretty good lecturer--I try to make it interesting. For one part of it, I assumed the character of Blanche DuBois having a cardiac event. Don't know who Blanche DuBois was? Neither did most of the students.

The last time I gave this particular lecture, I was a day away from leaving my old job and setting out on my journey across the country. I was so lost back then, desperately searching for the right path. I don't worry so much about it now--I'm more interested in the scenery than the destination.

I think for the month of June my daily pictures are going to be "by request".
