august 18--formerly tungsten me in black and white

Normally I wouldn't put post pictures of me two days in a row, but the only other picture I took today was unusable, because I forgot to ask the person (a student nurse) who I took it of if I could put it here, so here I am. Again. Without a baby.

I took this in the stairwell at the hospital. I have said before how much I like the light there--it is so pure. Whenever I am teaching there I can't resist taking a couple of shots of whatever is at hand. Sometimes I'll put a pig or something in my lab coat pocket just so I can take some pictures of it in the light.

I was thinking about making a poll asking what I should take pictures of in that wonderful natural stairwell light, but then I remembered that I never took any of the pictures you suggested in the last poll. Sorry.

But if you want to suggest something, go right ahead. It has to be something that will fit in my pocket.
