Today is the day I go home. I was supposed to fly home on monday, but for various reasons I decided to change it to today, which is tomorrow for you. Probably the biggest reason is that I just want to go home. The second reason is because it is a lot easier to get a ride home from the airport on saturday than it is on monday.

I got up early this morning--the power was going to go out along my street at 6 am, and I wanted to be able to see what I was doing. It doesn't take me long to get everything together anymore--I am a seasoned traveler now.

I'm sitting in a japanese noodle place in the international terminal. I had the noodles with pork cutlet and egg. I saved the egg for you.

This restaurant has the best wireless signal I have found in Suvarnabhumi Airport so far. Suvarnabhumi is the name of the new airport. It's the one that is slowly sinking back into the swamp it was built over. Hmmmmmm.

I'm sitting at the table, using teacups and chopsticks to figure out the time changes associated with my trip home, and when I should sleep. I fly east, so today will be accelerated, up until I pass back into yesterday somewwhere over the pacific. Evenetually it will be today again, and I will be home tomorrow, which is today here. Plane leaves at 11:30, arrives at 1:30. Confused? Just picture a chopstick flying across a table from left to right, as a teacup transits in the opposite direction.

My computer thinks it is friday evening, and has started its weekly virus scan. That's what it does on friday evenings when I'm out having a good time.

I've been all over the place, but it will be good to be home. And it will be fun to start thinking about what I want to do next, and where "next" will take me.
