57063--Singing through the nervous times
Feb. 6th, 2014 08:09 pmI was looking through my friend list and saw a picture of a rainbow reflected on the counter. It was a delightful little splash of color.
It reminded a picture I took in Paris, in the old St. Pierre church in Montmartre. There is a quiet little spot behind the altar where the baptismal font is. We sat there on a bench for a few minutes, all by ourselves. There were some ancient grave markers on the wall across from us. It was cloudy outside, but the sun came out for a minute and shone through the stained glass window over the baptismal font. Nothing special--just a nice little moment as we rested.
