January 31--Mildred had a secret
Jan. 31st, 2018 07:46 pmAlthough I stayed home again today, I felt pretty good--about 75% of normal. I'm pretty sure I am good to go to work tomorrow.
I got out of the house in the early afternoon and took a walk along the creek trail. I thought it would be kind of cold, but ended up being in the low 60s. Next week it is supposed to get up into the 70s. In February. No rain in sight.
The walk felt good. It was nice to get some fresh air and feel the sun. I walked about 2 1/2 miles total, with a break at the halfway point.
I brought along my little lensball and played around with it a bit. I think it works best when there is some sort of colorful and dramatic background, which is generally missing from the creek trail. I will keep it in my camera bag for just such an occasion.
I came across a black cat enjoying the sun. We briefly made eye contact. He seem neither concerned nor interested in my existence. Which is the way it should be.
