thebox

I closed up two boxes in August of 2006. They are full of objects and things surrounding the death of my first wife, Arlina, back in 2004. I didn't know what to do with the stuff at the time, and my friend suggested I put it in boxes, and with the intent to open them and deal with the contents six months later. That seemed like enough time.

They have been sitting under my desk ever since. I think I wrote about this last year too. Anyway, I was lying in bed this morning and decided today was the day. I don't really remember with any detail what's in the boxes--just some vague ideas. We shall see.

I'm very curious to hear more (that box in the next entry sounds like a good one, though potentially difficult).

I am reading backwards. I saw the posts about the cards and the metal box with a box inside. Hard stuff, for sure.

Mook looks forward to everything. She spends her days doing whatever I'm doing.

It wasn't as difficult as I think it would have been back in March 07. I'm glad I waited.

I always read backwards and then have to figure out what's going on.
