57145--long weekend

They came in to start tearing down our work area at about noon today, so I checked out and came home. I'm taking tomorrow off too. I washed the car and did some shopping, then came home and took a nap. It was nice.

We are taking Praywa to San Francisco tomorrow so she can see the sights. I like taking visitors to SF. And I like going there too. Even though I grew up in the Bay Area, San Francisco remains a place of interest to me. I remember how judywatt, who lived near the Golden Gate Bridge, used to photograph it over and over, but it always seemed new.

I should have taken a picture of my empty cubicle today before I left, but I forgot, so here is a tree. And part of a cow.

Looks like all of a cow, just with parts of her hidden because she's got her head down.

A golden field of rapeseed! And one tree silhouetted against the cloudy sky.

I can well believe that San Francisco would remain fresh and interesting, no matter how many times you went.

There are so many little neighborhoods and hidden gems. I love discovering new corners and returning to favorite places.
