zyzylyToday we had skills lab instead of lecture. It's the day we teach the students the new competencies they will have to master in the semester. My part of it is to demonstrate all the skills, then teach them how to give IV push medications. Giving an IV push medication isn't technically difficult. I think it is easier than most of the competencies they have to master. The complexity lies in knowing what you are pushing into someone's vein and what will happen when it hits the bloodstream.
The flooring people will start putting in our new floors next Monday. I guess I will spend the weekend moving stuff around. whee.
