I feel good today. No, I feel great! I get to take the morning off and don't have a thing to do. The weather is so fine--all the windows are open, and the music is blasting away.
I am going to go out and exercise today--maybe take a walk or ride my bike if the tires aren't flat.

I gave an hour-long presentation on sepsis last night on very short notice. I got a call at about noon asking me to do it, and I had it all put together by 5. It was a pretty good presentation, although not flashy, and the one joke I I attempted went over everyone's head (either that or it was really lame). For my efforts, I received a $25 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble.
They had pizza and cookies at the presentation, but I stuck to carrots!

I have writing to do this weekend, but I'm not going to worry about it now. I'm just going to enjoy this wonderful gift of a day.
