We're off to see the wizard....
Jun. 17th, 2003 10:00 amWe are on our way out the door to the infusion center for the first round of chemotherapy. It is a strange path, and completely unfamiliar to both of us. I am developing a whole new vocabulary-- CPT-11, 5-FU, and so on.
I am trying to decide what music goes well with cytotoxic drugs.
The neices have been here for the past few days. Boys boys boys--that's all they talk about.
More later.

So while I was in the land of Nod I heard Natalie Merchant singing a cover of the Boss's "Because the Night". I couldn't figure it out. I felt like I was in the bottom of the rabbit hole and everything was going Kafloooey.
So, I recommend Natalie Merchant. Doesn't sound right, I know, but trust me.
