and thought that I would interject myself into the situation and make your life a living hell.

Especially since she interjected herself in not one, but two issues, and sent a copy to my boss. For something she is not even remotely involved in, and that I was dealing with.

I rarely get this irritated, and It is all I can do to keep from calling her and "expressing my disappointment", which is something I am not good at.

Well, did you talk to your boss about it? Just ignore her, if you don't want to confront her about it and suggest that she shouldn't stir crap that she's not involved in.
