It is! And I had nothing to do with it. It is the early morning sunlight coming in through a high window in the east wall. As the seasons change, the beam moves across the house, back and forth, a little different each day. Yesterday it fell directly on the pitcher, which happened to be sitting on the table.

It is one of those things that keeps me connected to the turning of the world.
