wow you must live in a nice town. do you just ask people if you can take a picture of them?

in houston that would be really weird or people would freak out.

well, it is a nice town. i do ask them--but only if they initate the conversation, for whatever reason. i usually won't ask to take their picture until i have asked their name, told them mine, and talked to them for a few minutes. i take their pictures so i can remember who they were.
