Oh, yeah, I was really really busy over Easter week. And I go through phases where I don't know what to write about.

I have been following your journal, though, and wishing you peace and happiness.

I understand those winglets on the end of the main wings save quite a bit of jet fuel.

That's what flying over the Arctic Ocean looks like. I did that for over a year during my time in the Navy as an airborne navigator. Except our wing never looked that shiny. Nice photo. Remember, you don't have to fly away, just re-learn to soar.

Beautiful! Goose Creek Symphony does a great version of "I'll Fly Away".
It lends itself well to the Hillbilly Nation.

Really? You should fly somewhere--it's cool! In two weeks I might be jumping out of an airplane.

Who is Randy Crawford? When I put that, I was thinking of a song by Alison Krauss. Ever heard of her?

i've heard the name alison krauss... but have not heard her music.
randy crawford has a beautiful voice, and sings some lovely songs. her rendition of "imagine" is wonderful. the song i was thinking of was this one:

One Day I'll Fly Away

I make it alone
When love is gone
Still you made your mark
Here in my heart

One day I'll fly away
Leave your love to yesterday
What more can your love do for me
When will love be through with me

I follow the night
Can't stand the light
When will I begin
My life again

One Day I'll fly away
Leave your love to yesterday
What more can your love do for me
When will love be through with me
Why live life from dream to dream
And dread the day that dreaming ends

One day I'll fly away leave your love to yesterday
What more can your love do for me
When will love be through with me
Why live life from dream to dream
And dread the day that dreaming ends

One day i'll fly away, fly away, fly away (repeat to fade)
