you played the violin? I have a mandolin, and someone told me the tining is the same as a violin.

Still play. ;-) I don't fiddle, misplaced all my solo sheet music, and I haven't found a symphony here though, so maybe past tense is more appropriate.

I know mandolins tune the same as violins. Is it EADG for the banjo?

Rich colors, the blue of her blouse, the wood-grain browns and the yellow in the background all work well together. Her expression is intense but relaxed and the hair blowing in her face seem to reflect that as well.

Reminds me of Scarlet Rivera -- the violinist on Dylan's "Hurricane" album. (You know, the "One more cup of coffee 'fore I go... to the valley below")
