Thomas Kellner (bottom left)
Fred Snyder (right)
I went to a photography exhibition today--one that I had been meaning to see for a while. It was in the little college town across the river from Capitol City. The exhibit is a collection by some well-known photographers such as Diane Arbus and Dorothea Lagne, interspersed with the work of some lesser-known folk.
The exhibit is spread over two galleries, although (strangely enough) only one of the galleries was open today, so I missed half the show. Maybe I'll drag my friend over there tomorrow to see the other half. Everyone likes to look at pictures, right?
One of the photographs gave me a great idea for one of my photo class assignments--something I'm almost absolutely sure no one else will even think of.
I should point out that this whole "photo a day" thing came from something I saw in a gallery last year. Of course it was going to be a calendar, but I think that is on the back burner now--I'm having way too much fun with this.
