it is actually a reflection of what is out the window, reflected in a glass tabletop. I got all sorts of interesting shots out of it, including a whole roll of black and white film for class.

Yup! I've got one just like it! I actually thought mine was a one-of-a-kind until I saw yours. :) Never tried to photograph it before. I know what you mean about trying to capture it. It really is beautiful, huh?

My local PBS station had a Blenko Glass program that they played over and over every friday night for about a year.
