Doubt and faith

Each sustains the other, yes? Doubt, pursued, hones and sustains any faith worth having, so gradually a seed of tentative faith might grow into greater faith, and ultimately bud into trust. And faith that doesn't dare to doubt--or challenge, or shout or demand--is basically afraid that the one in whom we have faith is a fraud.
