ya--other than a couple kilos of laotian coffee, these are the only things I bought. In thai culture, elephants are lucky this year.
I'm not a big souvenir person--I never know what to buy for anyone, so I usually end up buying the same thing for everyone, and then never actually giving the stuff to them. I still have a drawer full of cambodian scarves from my first trip.
