Aug. 13th, 2003 10:08 amIt's always difficult for me to go back to posting about normal stuff after I make one of the big heavy posts. I usually have to do a few days worth of pictures to ease back into the mundane. Unfortunately, all the places I store pictures are now full, so I'm out of luck for the moment.
It took me almost an hour and a half to get to work today, for what is normally a 20-30 minute commute. I knew it was going to be bad when I saw a big plume of black smoke ahead of me on the freeway. Turns out a cadillac ran into the back of a semi, and got dragged along until it burst into flames. There were only minor injuries, but they closed the freeway.

While I was sitting in traffic, I spilled coffee on my light tan pants. I got to work and tried to clean it up. As I was leaning over to try and reach the coffee spot, my pants ripped.
I want to go home and change my pants, but I'm afraid to get stuck in traffic again. I could wear a lab coat, but it's warm, and I'l be uncomfortable. I thought about trying to sew my pants up with some suture stuff, but it would probably look more goofy than ripped pants.
Maybe I'll just spend the day hiding behind my desk. Ahhh, the mundane is such a refreshing change!
