I like taking photographs of doors, and of bicycles, and sometimes both. Lots of each here.

We had a relaxing day at "home" today after 5 days of traveling around Germany. I woke up at 7, had coffee, breakfast, then back to bed until lunch. In the afternoon we walked in the gardens at Bad Homburg. Now we are home eating cheese and drinking black beer. Tomorrow we plan out the balance of our trip and buy train tickets to Paris.

Pic #2 is my favorite in this set. It reminds me of what I think Old Europe is supposed to feel like. The curves and lines are just so stunning here. European architecture is awesome!

Yeah--that was what I was hoping to capture. Somehow all the big ornate buildings are a little overwhelming, but a narrow street with a bike feels much more my style.
