We took the metro up to Monmartre and walked up the hill to walk around. There were lots of people out--tourists and locals. The weather was gorgeous for this time of year--sunny, so there were a lot of people just hanging out and sitting on the steps. There were a bunch of musician scattered about, including a bag piper. We walked around in the church for a while, then walked the streets.



There were lots of artists on the square, both painting and selling. Quite a few were doing sketches of the tourists who wanted them. Others were doing simple landscapes of the neighborhood and beyond.

We are all packed and ready to go in the morning. If all goes according to plan, a taxi will meet us at our front door and take us to the airport and we are on the way home.
