Another beautiful almost spring day--temperature in the low 80s. Everything is green. I love this time of year.

We were invited to dinner at gracegiver's. I made an apple crisp for dessert. I had never made one before, but I have made cobblers, so no big deal.



Here's a close-up of the crispy part. Looks pretty yummy, doesn't it?

The dinner was great--lots of good food and even better company. The perfect start to the week.

It'll take me a day or so to edit this mess but what I see so far looks fun.

I loved having you two here for dinner. Ky and I were talking after everyone left and observed the difference between a sit down dinner party and a gathering of people mingling throughout the house with nothing more than finger food.. One significant difference is everyone present has a place and a presence in the gathering. People are not stepping on each other in conversations and each of us were able to get a glimps of all who were present. I sort of like that.

I think that was the perfect size for a gathering like this. I get a little anxious in larger groups, but I felt very comfortable tonight, as did Malida. It was a very nice group of people. Thank you for the invite!

You were partially right--brown sugar, butter, oats and some flour. I just had another bowl of it--very yummy!
