I opened the first box and it was filled with cards and a smaller box, which held more cards. I spent most of the day reading them. More about this tomorrow.

That's a beautiful little box, but a potentially very difficult time capsule. I'm not sure I would ever have opened it.

It's bittersweet reading the old cards. I have some of my parents cards. Call me sentimental.
