My portable speaker sitting on the table as the late afternoon sun streams in.

I'm waiting for the moon to disappear. It's a little big cloudy, so maybe no show after all. Anyway, I don't have to get up in the morning so I can afford to wait and see.

does your Bose connect bluetooth? or wireless? Can you send me a commercial link with information about what you have? I'd like to do some research. I may need to replace my Squeeze Box someday soon.

It connects via bluetooth, but I know there are wireless ones as well. It was my gift for spending 25 years at the hospital. I like it-has a rechargable battery that lasts up to 12 hours, and works within 30 feet of the source. I use it out in the yard a lot.

Inside I have the Sonos system, which uses the wireless in the house to connect to the music, but has it's own signal for connecting to the speakers. I really like it. I have it in a couple rooms and can configure it to play in all rooms or just certain ones. Check it out on amazon.
