mook and Malida
Malida and Mook this morning. Malida loves to hug Mook. Mook tolerates it.

At some point during the recent vacation, I decided to challenge some bullshit I saw on my facebook friends page. Not that it isn't pretty much all bullshit. Anyway, I challenged a few posts that I thought were either misleading or just misdirected.

I knew it was a mistake when one of the responses started with, "It's a free country...".

I know better now, I guess.

Back to work tomorrow! I get to see my plants!

If I argued with the political posts on my high school classmates' facebook posts, I'd be at it full-time.

Love this photo.
As for the Internet...I wish half the policies I disagree with could be put to a Nationwide Referendum vote. In the meantime, let 'em say what they have to say..

i guess i admire the "free speech" on FB but some of it is just intolerable. i could also spend the day arguing and then have a stroke at the end of the day probably. i have had to unfollow most of my cousins in Florida. they are just so WRONG. rednecks. gah. don't let me get started...

mostly i just look at the art stuff. that's good!

I find it better to keep my mouth shut on FB. Maybe I should rephrase that I keep my thoughts to myself. Cute picture!

It's a free country, and we're also free to influence those that can't see what we can. If we keep our mouths shut out of not wanting to rock the boat, what good can come of that?

My perception of Facebook is that everybody is shouting but nobody is listening.

I hate the superficiality of Facebook but I go there everyday because it is the only way to stay in touch with extended-family and friends in India and other places.

Also, you got off lightly if that was all they said.
