the silver lining

I noticed that all my posts have a generally unhappy slant, but actually there are good things too. My boss is letting me take both tomorrow and next wednesday off to do my papers, and I don't even have to use vacation time! "Oh, Mike, you work so hard, you deserve a couple days". Wow! I guess I should feel a little guilty for sitting here updating the journal, but I do work hard.

Oh, and I discovered that my rental car has a CD player!

It's always good when your boss notices that you are a good employee, sometimes I have to point out to my boss that I am and that makes me sad. Good luck with yo' papers!
