I didn't realize it had washed up on a beach- the only comparable memory I have is of a couple of hundred styrofoam Domino's cups that had obviously fallen off a truck and sacttered by the side of one of the roads I do my commute on each morning- every morning I look to see if anyone had picked them up yet, and there they have stayed for months- they are a little non-biodegradable landmark for me each morning... *runs off to read Geography of Nowhere and mourn the part she plays*
