Chemo day....
Jun. 17th, 2003 09:47 pm...went well. It was almost anticlimactic after what we were imagining. Arlina just kind of sat there for a couple of hours and then we went home. Apparently side effects don't start until around the second treatment, which is good. Next treatment is early monday morning--imagine starting your week with that!
The infusion center is nice--big easy chairs for the patients, regular chairs for everyone else. Hard wood floors, soft colors--a very relaxing place. I made a suggestion that they add data ports so that the husbands of chemo patients can surf the net while waiting, but they just laughed.
Thank you for all the cool music suggestions. I ended up forgetting to bring the cd walkman thing, so we sat in relative silence.

she still has all her hair--she just likes to wear that goofy hat.
