you are so awesomely talented! i envy you. what great photos! how is your wife doing? how are YOU doing? my brother has also been struggling with his religion. anyhow, i am praying for all of you. take care and keep taking photos. i would love to see one of the sutro baths. that would be cool, but i suppose, as alex bennett used to say, "you don't take no requests." anyhow, great shots. you are blessed.
Now there's a name I haven't heard for a while. Was he on KMEL?
Arlina is doing pretty good. She has another week off chemo because her white bllod count is still low, but this has given her the opportunity to gain some weight and strength. I am doing pretty good.
How about your brother? He had surgery already? I keep him in my prayers. Hopefully his stuggle with religion will serve to strengthen his faith.
alex bennett was with kmel for the longest time until they changed formats. then he went to the quake for awhile and was with kits until he said something that got him, personally, removed from the station. that's when johnny steele came on with laurie thompson. i'm glad to hear about your wife. good that she's gaining weight. how is your tension and stress levels doing during this situation? i continue to pray for you both. as for my brother joe, well, his appt. is this friday in l.a. and he lives in escondido. then he is going to stay with my sister. no surgery yet. i believe you are right. he hasn't mentioned his lapse or lack in his faith (he is in an eastern religion called Self-Realization-Fellowship and has been with them for over 20 years as a monk). he has a lot of support from them, so that is a good thing. i will keep you informed of his situation. thank you for your prayers.
That is a GREAT photo! Your nieces are so lucky to have a photographer in the family who does more interesting things than the "line up, everyone scoot in closer, now 1...2...3..." pics I have of myself as a kid.
Well, there are plenty of the "line up" kind too, but they are pretty used to always seeing me with a camera now, so it is easier to catch them just being themselves.
