I looked for Greensleeves, but it was out of print.

Wow -- everyone contributed such deep stuff, but mine is fluffy humour!

Oh, and I mentioned it before thinking, really, it kind of involves the kidnapping of the body of Christ -- another one of his though which is wonderful also is "Jitterbug Perfume". :)

Yes, unfortunately for my unborn daughters, all of Eloise Jarvis McGraw's stuff is out of print...but I would have recommended the Tom Robbins as well, his stuff is often fairly extensive religious history/philosophy (I'm hesitant to term it *theology*) masquerading as a light whimsical read:)

I hope you have better luck with Kavalier and Clay than I did, I just couldn't get into it.
