So here's the latest in LJ Scams...
People are now saying they're "friends with the LJ crew" and have access to fast accounts. They then offer to sell you $25 paid accounts that supposedly use "fast servers". They claim that these "fast servers" allow you to log on every time, have your friend's list come up every time, have your user pics show up every time, and eliminate error messages. These people then do get you a paid account, but you get shunted to the infamous "ribeye cluster", and your account is slower than ever.
Things to be noted:
-- There is no such thing as a "fast server".
-- "Brad" does not exist. This is the pseudonym for the multinational corporation that runs LJ.
-- There are many scams out there. don't trust everybody.
You have been warned.
