By the dawn's early light--the return
Feb. 27th, 2004 07:34 amFor a few months each year, a shaft of early morning light shines through a small eastern window in my living room. As the days lengthen, it moves southward across the western walls, landing where it will, until it makes its slow return to the north as the days once again shorten.
As I sipped my tea this morning, I noted that my friend had once again returned, and I was suffused with a sense of well-being. I had not been abandoned after all.

Date: 2004-02-27 11:48 am (UTC)thank you for sharing this little moment of beauty...... i love these, the best, these small moments of beauty, and i've had many also that burst from single shafts of light falling upon/illuminating something in the house.
in fact that's what my first art exhibit way back was about, and what i'm going home to, again.
