Episcopal Pancake Breakfast

A few weeks ago Arlina and I went to Berkely to hear bigpancakes preach for the first Sunday of Lent. We got to meet him, his wife stephaniebird, his parents, and assorted friends. It was a delightful meeting of some of my favorite and most special lj friends. We had breakfast and I took some pictures.

Someone noted as I brought out the camera, "Ahh there's the camera"

You have no idea how flattering and wonderful it is to hear this from a man with such glorious whiskers!!

A lot of Episcopal clergy have beards, but by and large they are rather tame. I intend to do my little part to change that if at all possible.

your shaved head and beard combo makes you look like one of the cfr friars (if you don't know who the cfr's are, they are the franciscan friars of the renewal. the "famous" ones are frs benedict groeschel, andrew apostoli, and stan fortuna. they are AWESOME!)
