Here are a couple of things on my to-do list for this life:

1. Join a book club.
2. Visit the New England states and enjoy resonably-priced lobster.
3. Grow a full beard

A good list, and all achievable.

Alas, my Native American great-grandfather prevents me from growing a full beard, even in my laziest state of not wanting to shave for weeks. I have spots, actually. I'm pretty funny looking when I stop shaving for a while.

I'm pro-New England, though. I need to get back to Maine sometime soon.

I have spots too--that's why it's still on my list!

Crustacean Tangent

I saw Jacques Cousteau on the old NBC Letterman show telling Dave he'd never eat a Lobster, because he saw what they sucked up off the bottom of the ocean.

I've been wanting to join a book club for a while, but none of them have the kind of books I'm interested in purchasing. I tried signing up for the Quality Paperback Book Club™, but I couldn't even find six initial books to order for $1 each! Let me know if you find one with a good variety.

I was thinking of the kind of book clube where a group of people get together to discuss a book they read. I've done the other kind a couple of times--the History book club and the Book of the Month Club. It's been years, and they' re still trying to get me to rejoin. No way!

I want to go to Maine and eat all the lobster I can hold. And I want to see the Northern Lights.

So do you want to be full of lobster when you see the northern lights? :)

What is reasonably priced? I think a lobster in the summer usually runs about $12-$15 a pound. You want a pound and a half lobster it's going to cost $20+.

Of course, you can get a lobster roll at our local ice cream shop for $9.00 and IT'S REALLY, REALLY GOOD (with a lot of lobster).

Out here in sunny california, a lobster tail goes for about $19 a pound.
