Gmail part 2
Jun. 21st, 2004 10:17 amAfter the last post,
asqmh offered me an invite to check it out for myself, and I took it.
And no, the last post wasn't some pathetic cry for an invite--I'm sure I could get plenty of invites, my childhood "you're not invited to my party" trauma thing notwithstanding.
But I still really don't get it. Maybe because I have aol for my primary email, and have every email I have ever sent stored somewhere. Of course it's not free.
So I have an account--myasma@gmail.com
And when I tried to access it I got this:
Gmail is temporarily unavailable. Cross your fingers and try again in a few minutes. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
I really do have some sort of residual trauma thing from not being invited to some party when I was a kid. I don't recall the specific circumstances, but I do remember arriving at some kid's party and being told something like, "you're not invited--go home". Funny how this stuff can continue to play out into adult life.
