zyzylyToday is special for me--it is the 15th anniversary of the first day I started working as an RN. And it is 19th anniversary of the day I gave up drinking.
I always thought it was so cool that I was given responsibility for the lives of others four years to the day after I realized that I was unable to be responsible for my own. It was such a wonderful image of redemption.
