Hours and hours later

We finally got to go home. The angiogram was completed by 3, but they made her stay flat for 6 hours. It shows that the tumor is relatively free of blood vessels, which makes hip surgery much more likely. This, we think, is a good thing.

Next step is to secure a time slot in surgery--they are booked up until late August, so we are hoping for a cancellation or something. I have all my surgery friends working on it. It's good to know people.

I'm tired--I was at the hospital for 15 hours. Good night.

I don not know you but I am sending you and your wife my good thoughts and prayers also..it is hard when our loved ones are sick. Many years ago in one year..when my dad was still alive he spent 265 days in the hospital and it was very hard..a hospital is a tedious place to be and the time seems to go so much slower there doesn't it ? I hope an opening becomes available.
