Years ago, someone in Sacramento bought a house out in the "fabulous forties" between midtown and CSUS. He put (or already had) white Greek statues out on his front lawn and painted hair on the heads and pubes, and (if I recall correctly) color into the facial features and what one could see of the genitals. The women might have been given nipples.

Lots of neighbors complained. The city eventually required him to raise the height of his wall around the yard.
