What to do, what to do
Nov. 28th, 2004 09:36 pmIn answering my own question from yesterday, I ended up making dinner, and eating it while I watched The Matrix for the first time. There is quite a backlog of movies only one of us wanted to watch. After that I started the laundry and went to bed. One day taken care of.
Today I woke up late and headed out to the American River trail. I took lots and lots of pictures, and was pleased with what I ended up with--fall color, some fisherman, an impressive dead salmon, and some beautiful wildflowers.
I sat on a rock for a while and watched the river flow by. The sun felt good on my face. A fisherman walked past and we spoke for a moment about what a beautiful afternoon it was. And it really was.

in the moment - not in the past
or future or even in your head
at all but right with the river,
the sun, the leaves..
i love that.

Date: 2004-11-29 07:56 am (UTC)I was eyeing the digital rebel yesterday and wondered how it differed from your new cam.
I still think you would enjoy the beautiful korean film, spring summer, autumn and winter.
what did you think of the concept of the matrix?
Also have you heard of a book called "life's companion?"

this photo is just as holy
as that man gently touching his
brow with holy water.
it's all sacred.
i would love to see
your world and the
things that move you
(all reflections of who you are)
through your lens.
if you are so moved. :)
