From left to right:

1st Monkey: "Oh.no. I CAN'T believe he's wearing those! *gasps and claps hand over mouth*

2nd Monkey: "Aaaaaaahhhh! David Hasselhoff is wearing tight leather pants!" *trips to rip eyes out*

3rd Monkey: "Noooooo! He's starting to sing!! *covers ears*

*giggles* I'm sorry, I couldn't resist.

My stepdaughter saw the play "Oedipus" today.
The Guthrie Theater's ad campaign has this headline:

"Stir the darkest,
most twisted recesses
of your brain
with a sharp stick."

I'm not kidding.

Whoa---the middle one looks less like "see no evil" as it does "If you see evil, gouge your eyes out!"

I love this shot and I'm laughing over everyone's response, so creative! I'll have to come back later and read more comments. After that "stirring the brain" comment, I don't look at the middle monkey in the same way anymore....ick.

Hi there.

You don't know me - my name is Kat and I live in New Zealand. I discovered your journal quite randomly and think your photos are fantastic. If it is ok, I'd love to save some to my computer for wallpapers? I wouldn't use them for any other purpose.

I offer my sincerest condolences on your loss - I cannot possibly begin to commiserate but wish you the very best for the future. You were an amazing husband and caregiver to Arlina and for me truly redefined what it is to be married. I have a great deal of respect for you.

If you ever need a stranger to talk to... :)
