Travel journal stuff

I pulled out the maps yesterday and started looking at roads. Much to my surprise, a completely unexpected route began to take shape. It includes potatoes, a selection of big giant heads (one of them yellow), a great lake, a so-so lake, provinces, a ferry ride, a wounded knee and a visit to the place I tell them I'm from when I lie about where I'm from.

Mapped out, the route has the rough appearance of a heart that has been turned upside-down. How appropriate.

I wondered what had happened to my card!

Hope you can make it up to Edmonton. We do have the largest shopping centre in the world, ya know? You can't miss that! ;)

yeah, I have a whole stack of cards waiting to be sent. yours is on top (heehee)!

As it stands, I am planning to take the yellowhead highway from thunder bay to BC. it looks like I pass right through Edmonton! I'm not clear on the timeframe, but I'll have to figure it out soon because I'll need to make a ferry reservation for the inside passage a few months in advance.
