oh no--I was taking a walk to get a newspaper and found them like this in the back of a car. At first I walked past, but had to come back for a second look (and the picture)--it was the eyes that got me.
Oh, I forgot to add--the picture reminded me of something in a book I read once called "Riddley Walker" by Russel Hoban. The post title is a line from the book.
I was cleaning out my inbox and found this again...now I have to say that you are the only other person I know who has read "Riddley Walker!" I love that book but found it hard to read until I tried making it sound like Tennessee Hill talk. I realize that had I made it sound like cockney in my brain, it would have made sense too. Oh well. I have not been reading your journal lately since the pictures you post make my friends list extend beyond the boundries of my measly screen size. But I will have to go and see what else you have been capturing in your box of many colors. Susan
