What a splendid photograph--the colors are so rich, and the composition so evocative...it is as if the statue is undergoing a ritual or a rite of passage...

I love the yellow against the blue and the gray, and the dark beautiful face.

I'm looking to buy a digital camera. Can you suggst anyhing? I 'm looking at the $250 or so range. I'd like to be able to photograph my artwork other than that I's just like to be flexible.

Most of the time now it is a Canon EOS 20d (which is what I used for this pic), but I also use my old Canon G3 sometimes.
